Pleasant Hill Tennis Club welcomes you!
A FEW TENNIS ENTHUSIASTS STARTED THE CLUB IN THE NINETEEN SEVENTIES AND WE ARE NOW A CO-SPONSORED GROUP OF THE PLEASANT HILL RECREATION AND PARK DISTRICT.
We're easy to find — just off the 680 freeway in either direction from Oak Park Blvd. Check our map for directions to Pleasant Hill Middle School and College Park High School.
The club has the use of six courts at Pleasant Hill Middle School and eight courts at College Park High School and offers weekly fun mixers, tournaments centered around major holidays, a newsletter published every two months, a calendar of events posted on the website, competitive USTA league teams, an annual picnic and a super holiday party!! See below for highlights.
The Pleasant Hill Tennis Club is an all-volunteer club. Members volunteer their time for a variety of club activities -- being a board member, maintaining the courts, coordinating tournaments, being a fun mixer coordinator, and captaining USTA league teams. We love our community and give back by being involved with the school district and co-sponsored by Pleasant Hill Recreation and Park District.

USTA League Play
We have teams for various levels. 3.0 - 4.0 men's and women's adult leagues, combo 6.5 - 8.5 as well as mixed 6.0 - 8.0. We have proceeded to district, sectional and even NATIONAL events throughout the years.
Join us every other Saturday or Sunday for drop-in Fun Mixers held from 8:30 am to 11:00 am in the summer and 9:00 am to 12:00 pm in the fall and winter. Check our calendar for the schedule. Format is drop in for mixed doubles. You will be issued a chip for your court. Play will be 8-game no add sets. Then rotate to another court and partners for the next rounds. See our schedule for dates.
Contact Tom at email@example.com if you are interested in volunteering to be a Fun Mixer coordinator. Being a coordinator is fun, entitles you to a free pass for another mixer and gives you a chance to meet PHTC's members.
We offer five tournaments throughout the year barring any rainouts. Format is either team tennis, King or Queen of the Court or Keep Your Own Partner, determined by our tournament coordinators, Donna or Tommy. You can sign up with a partner for Keep Your Own Partner, or be assigned a partner the day of the tournament. Otherwise, just join the fun with tournament, lunch and prizes.
In the summer time, come join us for a BBQ in Rodgers-Smith Park in Pleasant Hill where we enjoy food and drinks and for those who want, play a game of Bocce ball or badminton on the lawn.
In December we take the party to the Plumber's Hall in Martinez for food, drinks, a DJ and lots of surprises. Don't miss this fun event!
